The problem

Running a paid session is a lot to hold in your head at once

You're building live, answering questions, managing the clock, and trying to deliver a clear outcome — all at the same time. Without a system, something gets dropped.

1

Track the session agenda from memory

Remember what the Four Cs are, where you are in the flow, what comes next — while also actively listening and building.

2

Fill dead air with improvised transitions

When a section closes or a tool gets wired, find the right words to move to the next phase. Under pressure, this sounds hesitant.

3

Build live without losing the narrative

Open Claude Code, run the commands, show the output — and explain every step in plain English to someone watching for the first time.

4

Close the session and set the next one

Summarize what was built, frame the value, and pitch the next session — all without notes, right at the end when you're most fatigued.

5

Write the follow-up after

After the client disconnects, write the recap email from memory. 30 minutes of post-session admin that delayed the follow-up by hours.

The reality
"I was managing the session, the tools, the narrative, and the close — in my head, simultaneously."

How it works

Type the shorthand. Get the script.

Each session has its own /session skill. I type short status updates while the session runs — Claude outputs the exact language for every moment: openers, transitions, explainers, and the close.

🚀

Run /session [name]

Co-pilot loads with full client context from their folder

⌨️

Type status updates

Short notes as the session runs: "done intro", "wired cal", "they asked about email"

📝

Get exact language

Claude outputs word-for-word scripts for every transition and beat

🔨

Build live

Run the commands, show the output, read the explanation Claude wrote

📬

Auto follow-up drafted

Session recap and next-session pitch ready before the client disconnects

What gets scripted
open

Session opener

Word-for-word warm welcome and agenda framing, personalized to the client and session number.

transition

Phase transitions

Exact language for moving between Know → Reach → Do → Run without dead air.

explain [thing]

Plain-English explainers

Type "explain webhook" and get a 3-sentence non-technical explanation ready to read.

handle [objection]

Objection handling

Type the objection. Get a confident, honest response that keeps the session moving.

close

Session close + pitch

Summary of what was built, the value delivered, and the pitch for the next session.

The build

What I learned building it

Three honest cards from the build — what worked, what surprised me, what I'd change.

What I started with

A session checklist that I couldn't read and run at the same time

I had the Four Cs and the session flow written down. But glancing at a checklist while you're screen-sharing and building live is impossible — you lose the client's attention the second you look away. The co-pilot solved this by keeping the whole session structure in Claude's context instead of mine.

What surprised me

The client experience changed when I stopped improvising

I thought scripting the transitions would feel robotic. It didn't — it felt more confident. When you're not searching for words, you make more eye contact, listen more carefully, and respond faster. The client feels like they're in expert hands. That's what scripting actually does: it frees up presence.

What's next

Session memory across clients and sessions

Right now each session loads from the client folder. What I want is for the co-pilot to remember what worked and what didn't — across every client, every session. Patterns of what explains well, what objections come up, what transitions land. The co-pilot gets sharper every session, not just more informed.

What's coming

The roadmap

The session is covered. Memory and multi-consultant scaling are next.

In progress

Cross-session memory per client

Right now each session loads the client folder but starts fresh. The next version remembers what explained well in Session 1 and adjusts the scripts in Session 2 accordingly. If a client struggled with a concept, the follow-up session addresses it before they ask.

Designed

Pattern library from every session

Every time a transition lands cleanly or a close converts, it gets logged. Over time the copilot builds a pattern library — the exact words that work for this type of client, this type of objection, this type of session. Gets sharper every time it runs.

Planned

Multi-consultant handoff

Right now this runs on my setup. The next version packages the full copilot — skill files, client template, routing logic — so another consultant can run the exact same session quality on their own clients. The system scales, not just the person.
